1. Information We Collect
AmountZone operates strictly on a **user-initiated self-reporting model**. We collect information only when explicitly submitted by you:
- WhatsApp Identification: Your registered phone number and WhatsApp user ID to route your messages and send digests.
- Financial Logs: Text descriptions (e.g. “₹500 petrol”), categories, transaction amounts, and dates submitted by you.
- Audio Voice Notes: Short voice notes forwarded to the WhatsApp bot for immediate on-the-fly speech transcription.
- Receipt Screenshots: Payment receipts or bills forwarded for instant optical character recognition (OCR).
2. How We Process and Use Your Information
We use collected information solely to provide, operate, and maintain your personal money tracking experience:
- To parse transaction amounts, merchants, and categories using natural language understanding.
- To compile your real-time tracked balance, people ledger, and spending trends on your private dashboard.
- To deliver calm daily, weekly, or monthly financial digests over WhatsApp.
3. Security Architecture & Encryption
All stored financial records are protected using industry-standard security protocols:
- Data in Transit: All communication between WhatsApp, our services, and your dashboard is encrypted using TLS 1.3.
- Data at Rest: Database records are encrypted using AES-256 standards.
- Ephemeral Media Processing: Audio files and image receipts are processed for text extraction and purged from active processing queues.
4. Data Export & Permanent Deletion
You retain 100% sovereignty over your data. At any time, you may:
- Request a complete export of all logged transactions in JSON or CSV format.
- Permanently purge your historical ledger by typing “DELETE ALL” in your WhatsApp chat.
